In 2009 Infowine is now offering its readers seminars given by international experts.
These are presentations of variable duration usually between 30 and 60 minutes, filmed during a convention or filmed directly in the various speaker’s institutions located worldwide. Within the videos, when deemed necessary, the original presentation slides were integrated and possibly adapted so as to ensure a correct and complete understanding of the information. The voice of the speaker, projected in original format, was transcribed to give a text which was then translated into the various Infowine languages, in order to have corresponding subtitles.
Wine professionals, wherever they may be and at any given moment, can have access on Infowine to a dozen or so video-seminars given by international experts, with the possibility to: - independently decide the time, place and theme of the update they want - stay comfortably in front of their computer - avoid the costs, wasted time and difficulties which can arise during displacements - access the most pertinent information for the current situation of their company - watch again and review the most important parts of the presentation - share the video-seminar updates with their work colleagues - access the most recent acquired knowledge at a cost affordable to everyone
To have access to video-seminars it is necessary to first purchase Pay-Per-View Credits, directly online or across Infowine partners in different countries in the world. These credits can be spent freely to participate in a video-seminar, to open translated technical articles or for other services offered by Infowine. They have no expiration date, and so can be used within weeks, months or years, according to individual interest in certain documents. Within the presentation of the video-seminar, available in the open and free access area, the content is described and the access cost is given; based on this information the reader can decide if they want to participate in the seminar online at which point the corresponding credits will be deducted from their account.
NOTE: Infowine video-seminars are formulated so as to represent a real and concrete personal training course, not a recreational video clip to watch during a break. Before starting to watch the video it is therefore advisable to allocate enough time to fully benefit from the video, to not be disturbed by telephone calls, to turn off your cell phone and to be equipped with materials to take down notes. If however there is an interruption due to greater forces (ex. internet connection problems, system malfunction), Infowine will allow for a free second access to the same video.
