Learn more about the successful adaptation strategies of the CLIMED-FRUIT community

These Extended Practive Abstracts provide detailed information, including a simplified cost benefit analysis of economic and environmental impacts, designed to support decision-making and help contextualise each practice prior to implementation.

Each Extended Practive Abstract highlights innovative approaches to adapting perennial crops to Mediterranean climates, demonstrating real-world solutions from professionals across the region (effect of kaolin on vine development, disease-resistant/tolerant grape varieties, cover crop termination strategies, soil and vegetation management, risk protection in viticulture, etc.).

These 11 outstanding practices were selected through a competitive contest during the CLIMED-FRUIT International Web Conference in March 2024.
