“How to face extreme weather event consequences in the vineyard?”
Vineyard managers can choose among the following solutions such as a decision support system that allows soil and plant water content monitoring, mixes of mycorrhizas to enhance plant drought resistance, ultrasounds to manage the heat-related low organic nitrogen content, high alcohol content and ripening imbalances, a complex of enzymes to improve soil microflora, organic matter and soil water retention and a mobile application designed to diagnose and overcome environmental challenges with concrete solutions.

The Innovation Catalogue is a showcase of brilliant ideas from the “The Wine Industry of Tomorrow” crowd-writing contest organized by The Wine Innovation Collaboration Alliance – WICA, which included 9 different scenarios, under 3 main themes: Grape-growing, Winemaking, and Management & Marketing.
Supplier companies in the wine sector were called to complete these challenging scenarios, integrating their innovative solutions. In total, 45 companies participated, resulting in 85 stories.
