Calculating the exact dosage to be used of the different additives and winemaking adjuvants is an activity to which winemakers devote a considerable amount of time, as well as representing a possible source of error.

An interesting tool is available on the AWRI web portal that allows to perform different calculation operations including the addition of additives and adjuvants such as sulfur dioxide, bentonite, gelatine, etc up to conversion units or sensory analysis tests.  

The calculators are available free online via the AWRI web portal or as a Google or Apple app (the app is free in Australia and available for purchase outside Australia).
