The invited lecturists
Laura Mugnai from Firenze University is among the major experts in Europe on Grape Trunk Diseases, an exponentially growing problem that is jeopardizing the future of viticulture in some regions. Laura will offer an overview of the state of the art of scientific knowledge on the topic, and the seminar will give the occasion to present the EU project Winetwork on GTD and Flavescence Doré (Tue 5 may, 9-10 am).
 

Guido Baldeschi is head of the Oenology Commission at OIV, organism that has patronized the last 5 editions of Enoforum. In his seminar, Guido will summarize the new winemaking practices presently under evaluation at OIV, some of which will soon be authorize for winemaking in Europe (Wed 6 may, 8.30-9.30 am).

Vicente Ferreira, from University of Zaragoza is well known for his scientific production on wine aroma. At Enoforum 2015 he will explain how the tendency to develop oxidative aroma in wine depends on different types of aldehydes, that are produced and can be quantified early in the wine production process (Thur 7 May, 2.45-3.45 pm)
