After the success of the twelfth Italian edition of Enoforum held last May, preparations begin for the second Spanish edition of this European technical-scientific congress dedicated to the wine sector.
On 7 and 8 May 2020, the Zaragoza Congress Center will host this international event once again, the objective of which is to be the meeting and debate point among the leading players in the sector: technicians, suppliers and researchers.
Enoforum, the international congress held every two years in Italy and, from 2018 also in Spain, comes to this new appointment supported by the great success of the first Spanish edition, which was attended by more than 500 technicians of the sector, 40 research groups from all over the world and 28 leading companies in the sector.
The month of May will be full of activities, the Iberian peninsula will be the absolute protagonist of it since from May 12th to 13th in Vila Real (Portugal) there will also be the seventh Portuguese edition of this Congress, called Infowine Forum.
The Enoforum model, started in 2000 in Italy, inspired by the Anglo-Saxon world, continues to elicit a growing interest from the sector, as demonstrated by the more than 1200 participants of Enoforum 2019, the last Italian edition, who were able to attend more than 150 presentations by 84 international research groups.
The Spanish edition, organized by Vinidea in collaboration with Excell Iberica, proposes this same model with the aim of bringing together the protagonists of innovation (research centers, companies and technicians of the sector) to propose the most important technological innovations developed in the last years.
To this end, the congress will offer a full program of activities: scientific sessions with lectures and presentations of the 2020 Enoforum Prize, modules dedicated to the development of new technologies, demonstrative tastings and an exhibition area.
The Enoforum 2020 program and all the information on the event will soon be available on the website www.enoforum.eu
