The LIGAWINE project (Low Input Grapegrowing and Winemaking) will hold its open event “Wine Industry Insights: From Challenges to Collaboration” on 15 October 2026, from 11:00 to 13:30 (CEST), at the headquarters of INNOVI in Vilafranca del Penedès, Spain. The event is hybrid: participants can attend in person or join online.

The forum will bring together regional authorities, industry representatives, European stakeholders and project partners to exchange views on the challenges and priorities shaping the future of the wine sector. Discussions will focus on the current challenges facing the industry, regional funding priorities and opportunities for interregional collaboration among stakeholders from France, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain.

The event coincides with the consortium’s annual meeting, held in Vilafranca del Penedès on 14 and 15 October. Representatives of all LIGAWINE partners will therefore be present, offering a rare opportunity to meet the teams from five European wine-producing countries in one place.
