Viticulture climbs up: opportunities, adaptation needs and challenges
MOVING project presented at Enoforum Italia 2023
During the first day of the international congress Enoforum Italia 2023, held in Vicenza May 16-18, C of the Cristina Micheloni of Vinidea presented the first reflections from the MOVING project, dedicated to the development and resilience of mountain products value chains.
MOVING (MOuntain Valorisation through INterconnectedness and Green growth) is a Horizon 2020 project (2020-2024) coordinated by the University of Córdoba, gathering 23 partner organisations. The main objective is to build capacities and co-develop policy frameworks across Europe. It will establish new or upscaled value chains to contribute to the resilience and sustainability of mountain areas to climate change.
Vinidea’s team is responsible for the analysis of mountain wine value chains in 3 european countries: Italy (Trento province), Spain (Huesca province) and Portugal (Vila Nova de Foz Côa). Watch the video below to discover some preliminary results of our work:
