Jean-Claude Ruf, International Organisation of Vine and Wine
The increasing globalization of the international wine market makes the role of the OIV increasingly important, at the level of the market, consumption and production.
Jean-Claude Ruf, Scientific Coordinator of the OIV, in the talk describes the strategic role of the OIV facing new oenological practices, listing the different tools available to the wine sector and places special emphasis on new practices, products and physical processes currently under evaluation.
Finally it delves into the 3 main challenges for the wine sector identified by the OIV (economic, social and environmental) as well as the possible actions to implement these objectives.
The conference shown in this video was presented at the 11th edition of Enoforum (May 31-June 1, 2018, Zaragoza, Spain).
